The Network welcomed new members (on days 1 and 2) and continuing members (on day 2). Members discussed how to apply the guiding principles of the Network in projects to transform STEM education!

This four day workshop, open to all faculty (even those not in our Network!), introduced faculty to evidence-based teaching practices such as using active learning in the classroom. Participants learned basic principles and practiced applying them in a fun and engaging way with colleagues. This workshop has transformed the teaching of many faculty in our Network--we highly recommend it! Current Network members joined us at Adelphi to connect in person with their colleagues in working groups and throughout the Network. 

The day included leadership development activities, sharing of working group projects, invigorating discussions, and tasty food!

Continuing members and new members met at Nassau Community College to get acquainted and renew connections, discuss and apply the guiding principles of the Network, and begin or continue work on projects to transform STEM education!
